Abstract
This FEMP Technical Assistance Case Study describes the use of solar water heating at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Oklahoma. The solar systems are an environmentally sound and cost-effective way to heat water. By using renewable energy technologies to satisfy its mandate to provide services for visitors and protect the park system's natural resources, the National Park Service sets agood example for other Federal agencies and the general public.
