title = "Solar Resource and Technical Potential Modeling",
abstract = "After Hurricane Maria, a multi-lab Department of Energy effort to study the state of the grid in Puerto Rico and analyze grid resilience and grid integration of renewable energy was conducted. As part of the work done at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), new solar resource data was created, a technical potential and supply curve analysis analyzed availability of resources and projected potential costs of new systems, and a study of the interannual variability of solar resources examined yearly fluctuations. This paper focuses on outlining the analysis and methodologies of each of these phases of the project.",
