Solar Ventilation Preheating (Revision)

    Research output: NRELMarketing

    Abstract

This fact sheet explains how a special sun-absorbing wall -- also called a transpired solar collector -- can be used to heat outside fresh air before it enters a building's ventilation system. Solar ventilation preheating reduces annual heating costs, requires virtually no maintenance, and improves indoor air quality, adding to the safety and comfort of occupants.
