Solar Warranties Workshop: A Summary, March 23 and 24, 1978

Abstract

The main purpose of the workshop was to bring together individuals concerned with the solar warranty issue and provide them with an opportunity for in-depth discussion of the ideas and alternatives which would both protect consumers and support the evolution of a health industry. This report, therefore, provides a summary of the problems and approaches inherent in providing consumer protection inthe solar energy market and attempts to provide some insights into those problems in order to assist policy makers as they begin deliberations in this area.
