Abstract

In 2018 the Colorado Energy Office contracted with Ciel & Terre and NREL to prepare an assessment of the technical potential for floating solar photovoltaic (floating PV) systems in Colorado. The purpose of this report is to evaluate the physical siting availability, electrical capacity and generating potential, along with the associated environmental considerations associated with the implementation of floating PV in Colorado.
