Abstract
In support of the NARUC effort to identify both the regulatory barriers facing renewables and the information needs of state regulators, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) undertook a study to help assess the state of knowledge and awareness about renewable energy resources and technologies, to assess the impacts of state policies on renewable energy development, and to identify theinformation needs of state regulators. This report summarizes the NREL effort.
