Summary of the Third National Conference: Selling Green Power in Competitive Markets

    Abstract

    The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and EPRI-in association with the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) and the Renewable Energy Alliance (REA)-organized the Third National Green Power conference, held June 25-26, 1998, in Sacramento, California. The Sacramento Municipal Utility District and the California Energy Commission (CEC) served as local hosts for the conference. More than 120 conferenceattendees gained insight and perspective on emerging green power markets from regulators, electricity customers, and representatives of the green power marketing industry, utilities, and public interest groups.
