Abstract

The SunSine 300 is a fully-integrated AC/PV module developed by Ascension Technology, with support from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, New England Electric and ASE Americas. Rated output of the SunSine 300 is 260 Watts ac, with the protective features and functions to comply with codes and achieve UL listing. Testing has been underway since autumn of 1996;pilot production is scheduled for March 1997, and commerical introduction anticipated in June 1997.
