U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Assessment of the Photovoltaic (PV) Industry's Needs, Priorities, and Views Regarding the DOE Photovoltaic Program: A Summary of Feedback from Visits to 22 PV Companies

    Research output: NRELMarketing

    Abstract

In the summer of 1995, representatives from DOE and the Solar Energy Industries Association visited executives of 22 U.S. manufacturers of PV equipment. The visits had three objectives: (1) to examine the current status of a broad cross section of the U.S. PV industry at this critical period, (2) to obtain first-hand statements from company executives on their view of DOE's Photovoltaic EnergyTechnology Program relative to their companies' needs and expectations, and (3) to listen closely to the overall needs of PV companies and work with them as partners. This booklet presents the results of the DOE survey.
