Abstract

This report presents a validation of Hybrid2 (Version 1.0) with measured data from the Froya hybrid power system. Hybrid2 is a time-series model for the simulation of the long-term performance of renewable energy systems that use wind and photovoltaic power. Hybrid2 was developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the University of Massachusetts.
