Abstract

The Second DOE/NASA Wind Turbine Dynamics Workshop was held in Cleveland, Ohio, on February 24-26, 1981. Over 200 persons met at Cleveland State University to hear papers on the dynamic behavior of large and small horizontal-axis and vertical-axis wind turbines. While the first ODE/NASA dynamics workshop concentrated on structural dynamics, the present program contained 48 papers on a variety of topics, including: aerodynamics, structural dynamics, electrical system dynamics, and control dynamics.
